BIM for Managers
23rd April 2019
Our BIM for Managers training course is designed for non-CAD users who work within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industries in either a management or wider business function (non-technical) but require an overview of BIM Level 2. This training course provides delegates with an overview of BIM Standards, BIM Adoption and some of the methods and procedures required to be seen as BIM compliant.
The course will also cover CDE (Common Data Environment) and information management within a BIM process. Finally, delegates will see a demonstration of the capabilities of Revit and how it can help facilitate organisational change and adopt BIM standards.
In this training delegates will learn how to use Autodesk Fabrication CADmep. Autodesk Fabrication CADmep software supports detailing, fabrication, and installation workows for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
(MEP) contractors. It provides tools that extend design-intent to create more accurate, intelligent, constructible models of building service systems.
Who is this course for?
Fabrication CADmep training is suitable for those with a requirement to produce MEP service designs in Autodesk fabrication software.
Delegates will learn how to use the design tools and configure the database of the Fabrication CADmep software. Delegates will learn how to share models, seamlessly collaborate and help reduce data loss during
the ductwork manufacturing process.
This course is for new users of Fabrication CADmep. Users should be knowledgeable in AutoCAD software already.
