Fabrication CADmep Features

Extend Revit and AutoCAD MEP models

Extend Revit and AutoCAD MEP models

Extend the use of models created in Revit software or AutoCAD MEP software by importing them into Fabrication CADmep. Models built in Revit using your ITM content and services can be opened directly in Fabrication CADmep. Models created using Revit families or AutoCAD MEP software can be mapped to Fabrication CADmep services to help speed the creation of a constructible model.

Service validation and clash detection tools

Service validation and clash detection tools

Service validation issues can lead to incorrect estimates, costing, and procurement deliverables, plus wasted costs throughout fabrication and installation. Minimize mismatched connectors, duplicate items, and clashes early in the process with tools designed to help limit additional cost and help ensure that services are accurate and ready for construction.

Shared content libraries and databases

Shared content libraries and databases

Fabrication CADmep, Fabrication ESTmep, Fabrication CAMduct, and Revit can share the same libraries of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) content, as well as database settings and structure. Design, estimate, detail, coordinate, fabricate, and manufacture sheet metal without conversion or remodelling.
