Autodesk Docs provides users with seamless navigation and integrated workflows to create a single source of truth across the project lifecycle. This new functionality will allow hundreds of thousands of existing AEC Collection customers to share, manage, and review designs and models in the cloud. It was previously called BIM 360 Docs, so firstly let’s understand BIM 360.
So first off, What is BIM 360?

- It supports informed decision-making and leading to more predictable and profitable outcomes
- Reduce risk, improve quality, and deliver projects on time with collaborative working
If you don’t have an Autodesk collection you can purchase BIM 360 separately and a BIM 360 user can be invited to use BIM 360 without purchasing a service agreement under their own company.
