I was very pleased with the course and the tutor, the instructor showed a good understanding of the product and helped with side projects in addition to his own training scheme, the instructor also socialised with the "pupils" at dinner time which helped some of the other course attendants feel more comfortable. I would strongly recommend this facility for training in Autodesk products not only for its software & hardware but its training techniques, the friendliness of the staff and the ease of parking available near by the facility free of charge.
After attending the Advanced Assembly and Machine Design course, Gareth also commented that,
The course was a great follow-up to the Essentials course going into more depth of the software, The course was delivered so that it was easy to understand. The instructor explained and demonstrated his Inventor skills very productively ensuring that people attending the course fully understood certain aspects before moving onto to the next chapter, where applipicable the instructor used examples from our field of expertise and helped us with our own side projects to help us further understand certain areas of the course which were more difficult to understand or that we found to be totally irrelevant to our field.

The majority of my experience when I came into this project was with electricals for combat systems and wire harness systems, I had never done a PCB layout before and had never used CADSTAR. As you can imagine this was quite a daunting prospect for me, knowing what was ahead and the timescale I had to play with. A colleague of mine is very well associated with the guys at Quadra and suggested I get booked onto their CADSTAR training course, which I did. Their technician spent four days taking me through all the functionality and the tools available and then I got started.

I have used Quadra Solutions for CAD support since the company began in 1999. Although being based in South Dorset, I have on several occasions travelled to the company headquarters, formerly in Blackburn and currently in Accrington, for training because the quality of such training is second to none. Additionally, I have always found the staff to be friendly & welcoming, providing the perfect relaxed atmosphere for learning. (P.S. Nice lunches too).

I have been on quite a few different training courses with Quadra Solutions, mostly update training, but we also have had some of the guys on the Advanced Shape Design course and we had a bespoke course which involved a brainstorming session and a Q&A session which was really good, very useful. I have always found the training rooms and course material at Quadra really good but it is the training instructors who set Quadra apart in my mind. They are very knowledgeable on all aspects of CAD but they are also very encouraging, they open up the classes to discussion and are very friendly. The training services provided by Quadra are definitely something I would recommend to my colleagues and business associates.

I went on a two day, one on one, advanced course at Quadra. The course was very flexible in that I was able to bring along notes that I had been making on functionality I had been struggling with, and this was covered in the course. The instructor built on these notes and covered the advanced skills I would need to progress from where I was, at that stage, also covering some of the not so visible software functionality which can speed up many of the tasks. Training is something which I think is necessary to be able to use all the diverse tools within any software, without the training I received, I would have been phoning the Quadra technicians constantly so they could talk me through how to perform a variety of tasks. I find the training at Quadra good and it is a service I would recommend.
