History
Formed in 1999 by colleagues, and now business partners, Stephen Dobson, Simon Dobson, Rob Hargreaves and Keith Watkins, Quadra Solutions inherited its name from the fact it has four founding directors. Since then the company has more than quadrupled in size and now holds its place as a market leader in the CAD solutions and consultancy field.
- 1999 – November - Quadra Solutions Ltd was formed and registered.
- Affiliation with Autodesk was set up.
- 2000 – European CADSTAR Distributor of the year 2000/01.
- First year of holding Zuken Franchise
- 2001 – Awarded ATC Status
- 2002 – New corporate image launched.
- 2003 – Launch of the annual Quadra Inventor User day
- 2004 – Expanded into larger premises with better training facilities.
- Decided to focus on Mechanical Solutions
- 2005 – Awarded the Autodesk Data Management Reseller Accreditation
- 2006 – European CADSTAR Distributor of the year 2006/07
- Autodesk’s Fastest growing UK Reseller FY 06
- Ben McGovern - Best Newcomer in Autodesk UK Channel
- May 9th 2006 Zuken and Quadra launch starturn tool.
- 2007 - Autodesk’s Fastest growing UK Reseller FY 07
